Cradle to Cradle

Who knew that it was so time consuming when it came to deciding what kind of paper to use to produce a book on. I had no idea that there were so many harmful chemicals wound inside of what I thought to be, simple paper. Apparently it goes deeper than that. In Cradle to Cradle, by William McDonough and Michael Braungart, it is discussed how a book looks, the dimensions are even told. When I first started reading I started to feel really strongly to the different components of a book. Different components that I never really pay any attention to. "Yet attractive, functional, and durable at it is, the book will not last forever." After a positive paragraph about all the good things of a book, the authers then abuptly turn things around and tell you that the book won't last forever. Well, sure, we all know that books eventaully lose their bindings and pages fall out, but, before all that, aparently the book is dangerous in itself. All the different chemicals in books are terrible for the environment so it makes it hard on those producing the book to decide what kind of paper to use. This is all part of how the whole economy is starting to turn to making their most popular products with environmental friendly components.

When I googled cradle to cradle, this was what I was able to find:
